Dramatic Backs

The Fall 2015 Bridal Collections gave us plenty of backs to love

INES DI SANTO

We love the combinations of embroidery on this Ines di Santo gown.  The embroidered illusion back feels vintage with it’s beautiful scroll work and leaf motifs, but the spider web pattern and exposed zipper prove this back is very of-the-moment.  Bergdorf Goodman, 754 5th Avenue at 58th St., Midtown, (212)872-8957

INBAL DROR

Inbal Dror is known for her drama, and the back of this beaded lace gown shows you why.  The modified racer-back with illusion tulle shows off the shoulders beautifully, while the crystal beaded trim on the illusion and the exposed zipper give it a rebellious edge.  Mark Ingram Atelier, 110 East 55th Street at Park Ave, (212) 319-6778.

ROMONA KEVEZA

The floral lace on this illusion tulle back is romantic and feminine, but the low scoop below the waistline, and the slight racer-back cut at the shoulders give it a sexier feel.  Romona Keveza, One Rockefeller Plaza, The Penthouse, Midtown, (212) 207-1080

ANGEL SANCHEZ

We love how designer Angel Sanchez appliquéd traditional, sweet florals onto this modern, architecturally-cut bodice.  The cut is unique and daring, but paired with a simple a-line skirt, it is perfectly proportioned.   Kleinfeld, 110 West 20th Street at 6th Ave., Chelsea, (646) 633-430.

LELA ROSE

This back from Lela Rose has the most perfect diamond like cut-out.  Combined with the art deco inspired pattern, this is a gown that will be oohed and ahhed at from every angle.   Mark Ingram Atelier, 110 East 55th Street at Park Ave., Midtown, (212) 319-6778.
