A very Vera shopping experience

Vera Wang Madison Avenue@2013 Sawyer Berson

When you think of classic Vera Wang bridal, chances are you imagine poofs of white tulle and lace.  So upon entering the Vera Wang Bride flagship on Madison Avenue, the sleek black walls may shock you at first. It seems that may be Vera’s very plan, to get your attention and remind you that she is a modern designer and white poofs are a thing of the past, that she is the innovator of the American bridal market.

Surprisingly, it works. The black walls and furniture are the perfect backdrop for her dramatic gowns in shades of pinks, reds, black and yes, many, many shades of ivories. The salon features a wide range of the Vera Wang Bride and Luxe collections, from the more classic Vera styles to her very fashion-forward, avant-garde styles. All are expertly crafted using the one of a kind construction techniques she is known for.

When you choose a dress, make sure it is really who you are.  Women have to be true to their own style.  A formal dress is about self-expression – you want to be comfortable in your appearance.  The dress should feel as good on as it looks. -Vera Wang
