Our favorite ready-to-wear trend hits the bridal runway
The Spring/Summer 2017 Bridal Fashion Week was a whirlwind of romantic, sexy styles. More than ever the bridal runways are abandoning their classic, stay true silhouettes and following the trends of ready to wear.
One of our favorite looks this season is the off-the-shoulder neckline with a ruffled or bell sleeve. Shown by practically every ready-to-wear designer in tops and dresses for Summer, this Latin-inspired look features beautifully in bridal when shown in delicate laces or tulle. While not as bare as some of the ultra nude looks bridal has been tending to, these looks are elegant, but still sensual.
Our favorite off-the-shoulder wedding gowns were paired with a form fitting sheath at Marchesa, or with a flouncy skirt at Christos Costarellos. Look for these new styles at upcoming New York City area salons trunk shows or to arrive in stores next Fall.
