This Brooklyn-based caterer serves up seasonal menus that are sure to be, naturally delicious
With the huge trend in farm-to-table restaurants sweeping the nation it’s no wonder the top caterers in our area also serve food with the freshest ingredients. Naturally Delicious has been catering to sophisticated tastes for over 18 years and is a company based on just that. “Our menus are seasonally inspired, using only the freshest ingredients and incorporating a broad range of flavors. They appeal to foodies as well as guests who take comfort in the classics,” founder Loren Michelle tells Twirl New York.
With chefs who are happy to customize a menu based on your style, taste and budget, Naturally Delicious, based in Brooklyn’s Carroll Gardens neighborhood, can create a full menu for your wedding starting with pre-ceremony drinks all the way through to the dessert buffet and wedding cake. Their imaginative, seasonally inspired menus, gracious service, and a comprehensive range of wedding services will make catering your wedding one thing you don’t have to stress about.
Worried about dietary restrictions? Don’t be! You can get the same yummy options in gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian varieties.
So what are some of their dishes that had us asking for seconds? During cocktails we go back for more of the Tomato Jewel Cake, Braised Short Ribs and Mini Grilled Cheese Bites. For the main course, meat lovers will go gaga for the Brooklyn Steak Frites with thick-cut wedge potatoes and wilted spinach. The Farm-to-Table Roast Chicken with butternut squash farro risotto and sage brown butter is probably one of the yummiest dishes we’ve ever had. And for a vegetarian options add the Saffron Wild Mushroom Risotto Cakes with market vegetables in an aged balsamic and EVOO to the menu.
And not to forget about dessert, if you’re serving more than just wedding cake, you can do a medley of “His” Chocolate cake (chocolate stout cake and chocolate mousse with chocolate fudge frosting and salted pretzel crunch) and “Her” Funfetti Cake (vanilla buttercream with rainbow sprinkles and vanilla wafers), or pass out The ND Twix Bar and warm chocolate chip cookies while everyone is still on the dance floor.
“We appeal to foodies as well as guests who take comfort in the classics.”
