When we asked Liz how she knew her groom, Len, was the one we actually stumped her. “That’s a really really hard one,” she told Twirl New York. Liz expressed that there wasn’t any one moment specifically, but that her relationship with Len was very easy and that’s how she knew she could raise a family and spend her life with him. And so they married at the Tribeca Rooftop over looking lower Manhattan in a traditional Jewish ceremony surrounded by family and friends.

Liz and Len chose Tribeca Rooftop because it had a warmer feel that was a bit more unique to her than a hotel, “I wanted a New York City wedding with a New York City feel. The Rooftop had a very New York feel to it. As one of my bridesmaids said: It feels like a really nice apartment!” And because Liz appreciated the exposed brick, city locale and skylight, she intentionally asked floral and event designer Adam Leffel Productions for predominantly white florals, that weren’t too big so the decor wouldn’t define the room. “I wanted to have that natural, earthy, understated elegance [of the Tribeca Rooftop] with decor that wouldn’t take away from how cool the space actually is on it’s own.”

Friends and family advised us to take a few moments throughout the day to take everything in. We listened, and it was good advice. — Liz

With no regrets to their year and a half long engagement, the bride advises other brides to do themselves a favor and take their time, “Don’t lose perspective of what you want. Compromise when necessary, of course, but stick to your guns and really settle into the wedding planning time so you can enjoy it and do everything you envision for your day!”
