“Say Yes” at this designer destination
With the largest selection of designer gowns and retail space in New York City, Kleinfeld has a style for every type of bride. Chances are you know this from their hit TLC show Say Yes to the Dress, but Kleinfeld was servicing brides way before there was cable TV, let alone their own TV show. In fact, if you are a second generation New Yorker, your Mom could have been a Kleinfeld bride too at their original Brooklyn location, which opened in 1941.
Not every bride wants the over the top TV experience, and Kleinfeld is able to offer brides a private experience as well. With over 60 designers from around the world, many of whom are exclusive to them such as Pinina Tornai and Dennis Basso, your consultant can guide you through the vast quantities of fashion to quickly pinpoint your personal style. So whether it’s in front of an audience , or in the privacy of their well-appointed dressing rooms, there is a good chance you kind find a gown to say yes to at Kleinfeld.

The starting price point for gowns is $2500 and can go as high as 10s of thousands, with an average gown in the $3,500 to $4,500 range. Alterations are expertly done in-house for a flat fee of $695, no matter how many fittings you require. However, custom changes such as extending the train, adding beading or sleeves, is additional.
Appointments are available via phone or online, and can book out 6 weeks in advance. A credit card is required to make an appointment, however you will only be charged the $50 fee if you are a no-show for your appointment. Kleinfeld asks that you only bring a max of four guests with you – although clearly on the show this limit is avoidable!
