OMAR’S LA RANITA Departures magazine includes this hot spot as one of its Memberships to Have Now, and it’s no wonder. The entrance is unmarked and located in the basement of a townhouse in the West Village, this club for members-only is a bar and restaurant with 4,000 square feet of fun. Think modern day supper club.

FOUR SEASONS HOTEL Off the main lobby of this top notch hotel sits the Garden restaurant, which makes you feel like you’re in, you got it, a garden. With tables placed in between African Acadia trees, you certainly feel like you’re somewhere other than Midtown Manhattan. This is a prime spot for power lunches, leisure brunches, and shopping breaks.

INTELLIGENTSIA With two outposts in New York City and many more in LA and Chicago, Intelligentsia is a place where the owners love to “source, develop, roast and deliver the best coffee in the world.” They have whole bean, various brewed coffee, and espresso. The goal of founders Doug Zell and Emily Mange is to forever change the way one thinks about coffee. Go try it.
