LOCANDE VERDE Meet your girls at this Tribeca Italian Tratoria that serves a delish brunch and breakfast. Keep it light with Locande Verde‘s homemade granola or fill up on a zucchini fritatta, just don’t skip the strawberry ricotta scone! Toast your ladies and the fun day ahead with a Bicicletta (campari, vino blanco and soda) or a delicious cold-pressed juice.
TWOBIRDS BRIDESMAID. A short walk to digest and you will arrive at the showroom of Twobirds Bridesmaid. Twobirds is known for their wrap dresses that can be styled and “wrapped” up to fifteen different ways. Now they have added more styles to their classic silk blend gown, with new lengths and even a super cute rosette style. A big fear in shopping with all your ‘maids is that sister Sally might get a bit peeved that everything looks perfect on your soon-to-be-sister-in-law Lucy and a battle of who wore it better might erupt. The beauty of a twobirds gown is that the same gown can be styled to fit and flatter everyone in your bridal party. So all will be hunky dory with Sally and Lucy as you head on over to appt. #2.
BELLA BRIDESMAIDS Call an Uber XL and head up to the Garment District to Bella Bridesmaids. Although Bella is a national chain, it is classy all the way and has some of our favorite stylish brands. If there is a style or brand you have pinned, chances are you can find them here. Look for the stand outs like Dessy, Jenny Yoo, Ivy & Aster, Donna Morgan, and LulaKate. No time to stop for lunch, so grab a Starbucks on 38th and Eighth Ave. and regroup for your last stop.
THE WEDDING LIBRARY Head to the UES for your last and most posh appointment. Wedding planner Claudia Hanlin’s Wedding Library is one stop luxury for all the resources a bride could need, including outfitting her ‘maids. A perfectly curated collection of the most fashionable lines in bridesmaids gowns, including Amsale, Monique Lhuillier, Lela Rose, Coren Moore and wait for it- Milly. That’s right, our favorite ready-to-wear brand Milly by Michelle Smith has created a line for bridesmaids and you can only find it at the Wedding Library.
THE PENINSULA HOTEL ROOFTOP You have traveled from Tribecca to uptown and seen the best the city has to offer in styling your ‘maids. Hopefully, everyone is still happy and in the mood for celebrating! Walk over to The Peninsula Hotel on 55th and Fifth and bring your girls up to the rooftop for a special thank you champagne toast. Salon de Ning is the famous rooftop bar and terrace with a view and atmosphere that can not be beat. Relax after a long day of shopping on a large sette with a signature cocktail and small plate, our favorites are the Breton Mule cocktail and the Summer Scallop Ceviche. Reservations are only accepted for parties of 20 or more, so we suggest you send your groom ahead to reserve a spot and get the champagne chilling!
