WHY For generations this paper-loving family has been designing unforgettable stationery suites for weddings and special events
Long before there was laser-cut printing, graphic artists and computers, there were artists making miniature personalized portraits for the highest of society. Jean-Baptiste Isabey was one such artist, who created works for Napoleon and Josephine Bonaparte. Today, his great-granddaughter, Margot Hallac, has continued her family’s tradition of making art on paper at Atelier Isabey. Specializing in couture invitations and social stationery, Atelier Isabey has been designing and crafting luxury stationery suites for a notable elite including high-profile clients, celebrities, and international royalty since 2009.
There is nothing we enjoy more than having a real connection with our clients, making them feel excited about their designs, and creating truly spectacular works of art to remember.—Margot
From watercolor painting and laser cutting to the finest artisanal printing, Atelier Isabey is about beautiful design, fine typography, high craftsmanship and luxurious handmade materials that reflect the mood and personality of individual people. “Whether we’re working with a couple who is throwing a casual ranch wedding or designing invitations for a formal black tie affair or even a fashion forward Gatsby inspired bridal shower, what all of our clients have in common is an appreciation for great design. Our process is very collaborative so our couples really trust us to bring forth our creative firepower to create a memorable invitation that their guests will be raving about for weeks to come.”
From one of a kind custom paper suites to the 12 “signature looks” in the ready-to-order collection, each Atelier Isabey product mixes classic with contemporary styles, creating something as unique as the clients themselves.
And to ensure that your wedding stationery suite is completely coordinated, Atelier Isabey also offers postage stamp designs to complete each look. In addition to a vintage, floral, destination or New York inspired stamp, they can customize a stamp design for your outer, reply and thank-you card envelopes.
Each of our designs are a direct reflection of the couple’s personal style and wedding’s look and feel. Just like no two individuals are alike, no two invitations are ever completely the same.
A custom four-piece letterpress suite starts at $2,750, and includes an invitation, response card and envelope, and outer envelope. Embellishments such as folders, custom maps, laser-cut sleeves and belly bands are extra.
