A flagship with three designer offerings
The Amsale flagship salon is the perfect reflection of the designer, Amsale Aberra, and her brand. Clean, elegant and understated yet with soft feminine touches. Framed pictures display her gowns throughout the years, reminding us of her mantra that a gown should always be timeless. In fact, each of the pictured gowns would look perfectly in place on the racks that line the walls with her current collections. All share her minimal yet thoroughly modern style.
In addition to the complete Amsale collection and some one-of-a-kind pieces, here you can also find the Christos and Kenneth Pool collections. Both are designed by Amsale and her team, but have a different aesthetic than her namesake collection. Christos feels softer and more traditional, while Kenneth Pool is more adorned and glamorous. And like the Amsale gowns, each and every Christos and Kenneth Pool gown is individually made at her showroom in the garment district.
Prices for the collections begin at $4,000 and go up to around $13,000, with the average selling gown costing around $7,000. Alterations are all done in-house and begin at $575.00. Appointments are taken by phone, however you may request an appointment online and a consultant will get back to you. And we suggest, if you find your dream dress at Amsale, stop in to the Stephen Knoll Salon next door to inquire about their bridal services and receive a complimentary consultation or at the very least celebrate finding your gown with a blowout!
